| European Drag Reduction and Flow Control Meeting |
EDRFCM 2015 |
23-26 March 2015 Cambridge, UK |
The European Drag Reduction and Flow Control Meetings have proven to be a very attractive series of workshops on drag reduction and flow control. They are organized by the ERCOFTAC Special Interest Group SIG20 - Drag Reduction and Flow Control. Within this SIG, a coordination of experimental, numerical and analytical research into drag reduction and flow control using passive and active techniques is carried out.
Topics
Riblets, dimpled and textured surfaces, compliant walls, superhydrophobic surfaces, porous surfaces, polymer and surfactant additives, micro-bubbles, MEMS, synthetic jets,DBD plasma, piezoelectric actuators, wall and flow oscillations, travelling waves, blowing and suction, flaps and slats, micro-vortex generators, optimal and suboptimal control, electro-magnetic control, natural and hybrid laminar flow control, loads and aero-elastic control, icing and deicing control, etc. | |
